- 1 8-10 pound spiral-cut ham (bone-in or boneless)
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup honey
- ¼ cup Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves optional
- ¼ cup pineapple juice optional
Prepare the Ham:
Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Place the spiral-cut ham, cut side down, in a roasting pan. If desired, add a bit of water or pineapple juice to the bottom of the pan to keep the ham moist while cooking.
Make the Glaze:
In a small saucepan, combine the brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, and ground cloves (if using). Heat over medium-low heat until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture is smooth.
Glaze the Ham:
Brush the ham generously with half of the prepared glaze. Cover the ham loosely with aluminum foil to prevent it from drying out.
Bake the Ham:
Place the ham in the preheated oven and bake for about 10-12 minutes per pound, or until the internal temperature reaches 140°F (60°C). Baste the ham with the remaining glaze during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
Serve the Ham:
Remove the ham from the oven and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before serving. The spiral cuts make it easy to pull apart slices. Serve warm with your favorite side dishes.
