- In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced chicken sausage and cook until browned and heated through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the sausage from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and red pepper flakes (if using) to the skillet. Stir well and let the mixture simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return the cooked sausage to the skillet along with the drained pasta. Toss everything together until the pasta is well coated with the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Plate the pasta and garnish with chopped fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese. Serve hot.
