- Wash the broccoli and cut it into small florets. Slice the carrot into thin rounds. Peel and devein the shrimp if not already done. Mince the garlic.
- In a bowl, combine the shrimp with 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and a pinch of salt. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the broccoli florets and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Add the marinated shrimp to the skillet and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until the shrimp turn pink and are cooked through.
- Add the minced garlic, remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Stir well to combine and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the stir-fry over cooked rice or noodles.
