- Wash strawberries carefully and pat completely dry. Cut stems to create flat bases, then slice about one-third from tops to create Santa hats.
- In small bowl, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and well-blended.
- Transfer cream cheese mixture to piping bag with star tip, or use zip-lock bag with corner cut off.
- Place strawberry bases on serving plate and pipe generous dollops of cream cheese mixture, making them tall enough to support hat pieces.
- Gently place strawberry hat pieces on top of cream cheese filling, then add small cream cheese stars for pom-poms.
- Use decorative icing to create Santa faces with small black dots for eyes and red dots for noses. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to enjoy.
Notes
Best served day of preparation. Use tweezers for precise icing placement. Store in refrigerator up to 24 hours in airtight container.
