TERIYAKI SHRIMP STIR FRY

A quick and easy stir fry packed with shrimp and colorful vegetables, all coated in a delicious teriyaki sauce.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 bell pepper sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 carrot thinly sliced
  • 3 green onions chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger grated
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds optional
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving

Instructions
 

STEP 1: PREPARE THE SHRIMP

  • Heat Oil: In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  • Cook Shrimp: Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes, or until they turn pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

STEP 2: STIR FRY THE VEGETABLES

  • Sauté Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the bell pepper, broccoli, and carrot. Stir-fry for about 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  • Add Aromatics: Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for an additional minute until fragrant.

STEP 3: COMBINE AND FINISH

  • Return Shrimp: Add the cooked shrimp back to the skillet with the vegetables.
  • Add Sauce: Pour in the teriyaki sauce and toss everything together until well coated and heated through, about 2 minutes.
  • Garnish: If desired, sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.

STEP 4: SERVE

  • Serve the teriyaki shrimp stir fry over cooked rice or noodles for a complete meal.
