- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 bell pepper sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 carrot thinly sliced
- 3 green onions chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger grated
- 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds optional
- Cooked rice or noodles for serving
STEP 1: PREPARE THE SHRIMP
Heat Oil: In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
Cook Shrimp: Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes, or until they turn pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
STEP 2: STIR FRY THE VEGETABLES
Sauté Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the bell pepper, broccoli, and carrot. Stir-fry for about 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
Add Aromatics: Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for an additional minute until fragrant.
STEP 3: COMBINE AND FINISH
Return Shrimp: Add the cooked shrimp back to the skillet with the vegetables.
Add Sauce: Pour in the teriyaki sauce and toss everything together until well coated and heated through, about 2 minutes.
Garnish: If desired, sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
