Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces Pork chops About 200 g each, bone-in preferred for juiciness.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil For marinating and cooking.

  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder Adds depth to the marinade.
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin Provides a warm, earthy flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Enhances overall flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper For seasoning.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cayenne pepper Optional, for added heat.
  • 1 tablespoon Honey Adds sweetness to the glaze.
  • 1 tablespoon Apple cider vinegar Provides tanginess to balance the sweetness.

Method
 

  1. Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels and trim any excess fat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  3. Coat the pork chops evenly with the marinade and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add a little olive oil.
  5. Cook the marinated pork chops for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer; it should reach at least 63 °C.
  7. In the last two minutes of cooking, drizzle the honey and apple cider vinegar mixture over the pork chops.
  8. Remove the pork chops from the skillet and let them rest for about 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, marinate the pork chops for a few hours or overnight. Serve with sides like coleslaw or mashed potatoes.
