Instructions
Wash the strawberries gently under cool water and dry them thoroughly with paper towels.
Set up a double boiler by filling a saucepan with water and bringing it to a gentle simmer. Place a heatproof bowl on top and add the semi-sweet chocolate and coconut oil (if using). Stir until melted and smooth.
Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip it into the melted chocolate, swirling to coat evenly. Allow excess chocolate to drip off.
Place the dipped strawberries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
If using, melt the white chocolate and drizzle it over the chocolate-covered strawberries using a fork or piping bag.
Sprinkle with sprinkles or chopped nuts while the chocolate is still wet.
Refrigerate the strawberries for about 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.
Serve the chocolate-covered strawberries on a decorative platter and enjoy!
