Ingredients
  

  • 12 large Fresh strawberries Ripe and free from blemishes.
  • 8 ounces Semi-sweet chocolate For coating the strawberries.
  • 1 tablespoon Coconut oil Optional, for a smoother finish.
  • 4 ounces White chocolate For drizzling, optional.
  • 1/4 cup Sprinkles or chopped nuts For decoration, optional.

Instructions
 

  • Wash the strawberries gently under cool water and dry them thoroughly with paper towels.
  • Set up a double boiler by filling a saucepan with water and bringing it to a gentle simmer. Place a heatproof bowl on top and add the semi-sweet chocolate and coconut oil (if using). Stir until melted and smooth.
  • Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip it into the melted chocolate, swirling to coat evenly. Allow excess chocolate to drip off.
  • Place the dipped strawberries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • If using, melt the white chocolate and drizzle it over the chocolate-covered strawberries using a fork or piping bag.
  • Sprinkle with sprinkles or chopped nuts while the chocolate is still wet.
  • Refrigerate the strawberries for about 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.
  • Serve the chocolate-covered strawberries on a decorative platter and enjoy!
