Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples, granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, lemon juice, and flour. Toss gently to coat the apples evenly.
  3. Pour the apple filling into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish and spread evenly.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together the rolled oats, all-purpose flour, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
  5. Pour the melted butter over the dry mixture and stir until combined. Fold in the chopped nuts.
  6. Evenly distribute the crisp topping over the apple filling in the baking dish.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are bubbling.
