Ingredients
- 1 cup Freshly squeezed lemon juice Provides the zesty flavor.
- 1 cup Granulated sugar Sweetens the lemonade.
- 4 cups Water Dilutes the lemon juice and sugar.
- 1/2 teaspoon Green food coloring Adds a spooky hue.
- 1/2 teaspoon Activated charcoal (optional) For an eerie effect.
- to taste Fresh mint leaves (for garnish) Adds aroma and color.
- to taste Lemon slices (for garnish) Enhances visual appeal.
- as needed Ice cubes Keeps the drink chilled.
Instructions
- Gather all your ingredients: lemon juice, sugar, water, food coloring, activated charcoal (if using), mint leaves, lemon slices, and ice cubes.
- In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice and granulated sugar. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Pour in the 4 cups of water and stir again to combine all ingredients thoroughly.
- Add the green food coloring and stir well until the color is evenly distributed. If using, add the activated charcoal for a darker effect.
- To serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the lemonade over the ice. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and lemon slices.
