Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound Cooked, peeled, and chopped jumbo shrimp The star of the salad, providing a sweet and savory taste.
  • 1 cup Chopped red onion Adds a crunchy texture and a mild, sweet flavor.
  • 1 medium Diced tomato Brings juiciness and a pop of color.
  • 1 medium Diced avocado Offers creaminess and healthy fats.
  • 1 teaspoon Extra-virgin olive oil Adds a smooth finish to the dressing.
  • 2 medium Limes (juiced) Provides the zesty flavor.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Essential for seasoning.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh cilantro, chopped For garnish, adds freshness and aroma.

Instructions
 

  • Ensure shrimp is cooked, peeled, and chopped. If using frozen shrimp, thaw them completely before starting.
  • In a small bowl, combine lime juice and olive oil. Add salt and pepper to taste, and whisk until well combined.
  • In a large mixing bowl, add chopped shrimp, red onion, diced tomato, and avocado. Gently toss to mix, being careful not to mash the avocado.
  • Pour the lime dressing over the salad and gently toss to coat all ingredients.
  • Garnish with freshly chopped cilantro before serving.

Notes

This salad is perfect for summer gatherings and can be customized with additional ingredients like cucumber or mango.
