Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound Cooked, peeled, and chopped jumbo shrimp Provides protein and flavor.
  • 1 cup Chopped red onion Adds crunch and flavor.
  • 1 medium Diced tomato Adds freshness and color.
  • 1 medium Diced avocado Provides creaminess and healthy fats.
  • 1 teaspoon Extra-virgin olive oil Enhances flavor and richness.
  • 2 limes Juice of Adds tanginess to the dressing.
  • to taste Salt Enhances overall flavor.
  • to taste Pepper Adds a bit of spice.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh cilantro, chopped For garnish and added flavor.

Instructions
 

  • If using frozen shrimp, thaw it completely and pat dry with a paper towel. Chop the shrimp into bite-sized pieces.
  • In a small bowl, squeeze the juice of two fresh limes, add olive oil, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well combined.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped shrimp, red onion, diced tomato, and avocado. Gently mix to combine.
  • Pour the lime dressing over the shrimp mixture and gently toss until everything is evenly coated.
  • Transfer the salad to a serving dish and garnish with chopped cilantro. Serve immediately.

Notes

This salad is best served fresh. To prevent the avocado from browning, prepare it just before serving.
