Ingredients
  

  • 4 medium Zucchinis Thinly sliced.
  • 1 cup Heavy cream Adds richness to the gratin.
  • 1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese Provides creaminess and stretch.
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan cheese Adds a salty, nutty flavor.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced for flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Dried thyme Enhances the flavor profile.
  • to taste Salt For seasoning.
  • to taste Pepper For seasoning.
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil For greasing the baking dish.
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs For a crunchy topping.
  • to taste Fresh parsley Chopped, for garnish.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Wash the zucchinis thoroughly and slice them into thin rounds, about 1/4 inch thick.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, minced garlic, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Grease a baking dish with olive oil. Layer half of the zucchini slices in the dish, then pour half of the cheese mixture over them. Repeat with the remaining zucchini and cheese mixture.
  • Sprinkle breadcrumbs evenly over the top layer of the gratin.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the zucchini is tender.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley.
