Ingredients
  

  • 4 fillets Salmon About 6 oz each, fresh or thawed if frozen.
  • 1/4 cup Honey Adds sweetness to the marinade.

  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced, for robust flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil Helps to blend the marinade.
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh ginger Grated, adds warmth to the marinade.

  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds For garnish, adds crunch.

Instructions
 

  • Gather all your ingredients to ensure a smooth cooking process.
  • In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, and grated ginger until well combined.
  • Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the salmon, ensuring each fillet is well coated. Cover or seal and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, up to 2 hours.
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it. Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it on the prepared baking sheet. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Bake the salmon for 15-20 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork.
  • While the salmon is baking, pour the reserved marinade into a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Once the salmon is cooked, drizzle the thickened marinade over the fillets and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
