- Gather all your ingredients to ensure a smooth cooking process.
- In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, and grated ginger until well combined.
- Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the salmon, ensuring each fillet is well coated. Cover or seal and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, up to 2 hours.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it. Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it on the prepared baking sheet. Season with salt and pepper.
- Bake the salmon for 15-20 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork.
- While the salmon is baking, pour the reserved marinade into a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Once the salmon is cooked, drizzle the thickened marinade over the fillets and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
- Serve hot and enjoy your delicious Honey Garlic Salmon!
