Ingredients
  

  • 4 tilapia fillets about 6 oz each
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp melted butter
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix Parmesan, panko, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Pat tilapia fillets dry. Brush both sides with olive oil and melted butter.
  4. Press each fillet into the Parmesan-panko mixture, coating both sides. Transfer to baking sheet and sprinkle any remaining crumbs on top.
  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden and fish flakes easily. Broil last 2 minutes for extra crispiness if desired.
  6. Let rest 2–3 minutes. Serve hot with lemon wedges.

Notes

Store leftovers up to 2 days or freeze up to 1 month. Reheat in oven at 375°F to maintain crispiness. Avoid microwaving.
