Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Fresh or frozen strawberries Thawed and drained if frozen.
  • 1 can Strawberry pie filling 21 oz can.
  • 1 package Cream cheese 8 oz, softened.
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar For sweetness.
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract Adds flavor.
  • 1 box Yellow cake mix For the topping.
  • 1 cup Unsalted butter Melted, for drizzling.
  • to taste Whipped cream For topping, optional.

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray.
  3. Spread the fresh or frozen strawberries evenly at the bottom of the greased pan.
  4. Pour the strawberry pie filling over the strawberries.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Drop spoonfuls of this mixture over the strawberry layer.
  6. Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the entire mixture without stirring.
  7. Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix evenly.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes until the top is golden brown and the cake is set.
  9. Let the cake cool for a few minutes before serving. Top with whipped cream if desired.
