Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Fresh or frozen strawberries Thawed and drained if frozen.
  • 1 can Strawberry pie filling 21 oz can.
  • 1 package Cream cheese 8 oz, softened.
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar For sweetness.
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract Adds flavor.
  • 1 box Yellow cake mix For the topping.
  • 1 cup Unsalted butter Melted, for drizzling.
  • to taste Whipped cream For topping, optional.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray.
  • Spread the fresh or frozen strawberries evenly at the bottom of the greased pan.
  • Pour the strawberry pie filling over the strawberries.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Drop spoonfuls of this mixture over the strawberry layer.
  • Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the entire mixture without stirring.
  • Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes until the top is golden brown and the cake is set.
  • Let the cake cool for a few minutes before serving. Top with whipped cream if desired.
